CASE STUDY
ANALYSIS
Written
cases and case lets, developed by using current and
emerging trends, are discussed in groups. These
stimulate creativity and enable the development of
analytical & problem solving skills. Diverse
situations from the corporate world are presented with a
view to trigger innovative
solutions.
PROJECTS
The
project provides the learner with an exposure to the
industry and helps him/her inculcate the skills of
conceptualizing, data organizing and presentation.
Projects also enable the students to apply concepts
learnt in class in a real-life situation. In fact,
working professionals undergoing these courses will be
able to take on real life situations from their
workplace and do projects on the
same.
ROLE PLAYS
Another
unique training method used is role-plays. Learners act
out marketing situations while the class observes them.
Their performance is video taped and later discussed and
analyzed by the group. Here, the learner learns by doing
role plays and through analysis of the role-plays of
classmates.
MANAGEMENT GAMES AND
EXERCISES
These
are used to evaluate and simultaneously develop a
learner's leadership, interpersonal and organizational
skills. This is an effective as well as an interesting
method of learning and fosters teamwork and managerial
skills.
SITUATIONAL REPLAY
Learners are required to simulate
various situations where their presentation techniques
and interpersonal skills are video recorded. These
recordings are then played back to the group and
analyzed. Learners get benefitted by getting an
opportunity to view their own as well as the group's
performance.
VIDEOS
In-house educational videos based
on real-life situations in marketing in the Indian
scenario are used. This makes the curriculum more
relevant and meaningful to present day
situations.
